Hulu Plus, the subscription service that has gained popularity by delivering TV shows on more devices in HD, has recently received a facelift to its user interface.

What’s more, they are now flaunting the new look by making the Hulu Plus app, which can be installed free of cost through Google Play, compatibly available on seven more Android tablets.

These include the Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime, Asus Eee Pad Transformer, Motorola Xoom, Motorola Xyboard 10.1, Toshiba Thrive, Acer Iconia and LG G-Slate.

The software display revamp aims to deliver a less cluttered and more appealing interface to keep viewers engaged. In addition, the new-look horizontal trays now allow for more natural interaction.

Hulu Plus software developers Rajiv Makhijani and Zachary Pinter commented on the company blog: “We’ve organized our content library so it’s easy to discover new shows and keep up with the shows you already love. Jump back into your favourite shows quickly and easily with the ‘What You’re Watching’ tray and never miss a new episode or lose your place in a series. Check out popular and recommended content in a variety of genres… keep up with the hottest trending clips and scroll through the latest movie trailers with ease.”

Sadly however, Hulu videos are currently only offered to users in Japan plus the United States and its overseas territories, but the company is endeavouring to go global with their service.
