With people opening up more and more on social media, the potential to use updates about their daily lives as a tool to identify related incidents of food poisoning as well as locate the source is made possible – a new app recently developed in Chicago cleverly harnesses this info. Irish company Soundwave have recently launched their innovative social music app, which has already garnered praise from Apple founder Steve Wozniak and Stephen Fry. The application allows the user to choose an area, either local to them or worldwide, and find out what music people are listening to. Vine, the most recent in a long line of social media applications that allows its users to share each detail of their day to day existence in excruciating detail, was an instant hit when introduced to the Apple store in January. BlackBerry’s new 10 OS smartphone has been tested to see what it offers customers in terms of its user experience.
